Macau will stage the 2026 Sands China Macao International 10K on 15 March 2026, expanding the event’s regional profile while keeping the headline capacity at 10,000 participants. The race will offer 7,000 places for the 10K and 3,000 for the Fun Run (about 5.5 km), according to organisers.
The event is organised by Macau’s Sports Bureau (ID) alongside Sands China Ltd. and the General Association of Athletics of Macau (AGAM). The start line will be at Sai Van Lake Square, with the 10K route crossing the Sai Van Bridge, running through the Cotai Strip, and finishing inside the Macau Olympic Sports Centre Stadium in Taipa. Scheduled start times are 07:00 for the 10K and 07:40 for the Fun Run.

Registration opens at 09:00 via the official platform and the “Macao 10K” mobile app, and closes once places are filled. Local reporting notes sign-ups will start on a Saturday for the 10K and the following Monday for the Fun Run.

Organisers are again leaning into entertainment and destination branding. The event will feature the FUNkiest Costume Award, themed “East Meets West Run,” with 10 winners planned. Officials also highlight the race’s international track record: since 2021, it has attracted more than 40,000 runners from over 40 countries and regions across recent editions, reinforcing its role as a sports-tourism draw for Macau.
