Colombian body regulator has published a new project resolutions which’s enhances the homologación of slot machines in a moment where the industry is just recovering from a strong cease of operations.
This being said is a project of 8 years plan where they want to try out to put all gambling machines across Peru, Chile and Colombia equivalent. A very risky move as can boost illegal reselling of slot machines across countries.
On the other hand it place the slot manufacturers in a very complex situations as they work on future demand but the regulation starts to be effective in just two years ahead, which means short term calendar to them.
All actors have until next 26 of October to send their comments to the body regulator before the project is published.
