Paradise City partners with 9.81 Park to boost tourism in Incheonv

Paradise City and DSM Corporation signed an agreement on August 25, 2026 to connect the Incheon integrated resort with the future 9.81 Park Incheon Airport, a technology-driven theme park scheduled to open in spring 2027 next to Terminal 1 of Incheon International Airport.

The agreement was signed at Paradise City by Choi Jong-hwan, CEO of Paradise Co. and Paradise Segasammy, and Kim Jong-seok, co-CEO of DSM Corporation. The partnership covers joint marketing, bundled products, international tourist acquisition, MICE programs, organized travel, educational experiences and improved mobility between the two complexes.

The new 9.81 Park will occupy around 60,000 square meters in the International Business Center 1, opposite the airport. The project will feature a 50-meter-high indoor gravity racing stadium, three-dimensional circuits, next-generation racing vehicles, artificial intelligence, robotics, augmented reality, digital rankings and automated content generation.

The project was initially valued at KRW85 billion, but DSM has mobilized close to KRW100 billion in financing, including KRW87 billion in project financing led by Hana Bank and another KRW10 billion through convertible bonds. DSM, listed on KOSDAQ under code 104040, is led by co-CEOs Kim Byung-jun and Kim Jong-seok. The company expects to attract more than one million visitors in the first year and later move toward two million annually.

Paradise City is operated by Paradise Segasammy, owned 55% by Paradise Co. and 45% by Sega Sammy Holdings. The resort combines hotels, a foreigners-only casino, conventions, spa, dining and entertainment. In the second quarter of 2026, Paradise City generated KRW167.2 billion in sales, including KRW131.9 billion in casino revenue.vParadise Co. closed the quarter with KRW318.1 billion in consolidated sales, while its casinos generated KRW477.6 billion during the first half.
