In Songkhla, a team of officers made an operative were seized 159 illegal slot machines from two shophouses. Suraporn Sarikbut 63 years old and Somporn Nuengtaeng 45 years old were the caretakers of the houses and detained by the authorities.
The machines were horse-racing slot machines and other gambling machine parts, however these houses acted as a tip-off so many slot machines smuggled from the Ban Dan Nok border checkpoint and hidden in these two houses before being delivered to other areas.
