“I haven’t heard from Austin anyone who thinks it’s going to go anywhere this session” affirmed Texas’ Representative Dustin Burrows to the local press, Casino sector is not allowed in Texas, although the government has approved gaming operations at the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino on Native American land in Eagle Pass.

Burrows commented to the local press that the State’s legislators are not debating a new framework for the gaming industry. Members of the Republican Party of Lubbock County said that there is a possibility that gambling companies could lobby for the expected regulation.
