The mayor of Manizales, José Octavio Cardona, signed decree 420 that began to apply since last Friday and authorized half an hour more operation for these establishments, that is until 3:00 am.
This after the managers of establishments asked the mayor to extend the schedule, and analyzing the levels of security recorded by the city and that there is a good behavior of the merchants in that they are not allowing the entry of minors and are controlling income from White weapons and hallucinogenic substances.
However, for gambling or casinos establishments the schedules will not be as wide, but from 10:00 a.m. at 12:00 p.m. Sunday to Thursday; Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. at 1:00 a.m.
This will put all these recreational establishments on trial, since those who live around are not very happy with this decree.
“You can imagine how this area is going to return again. We were living a different time with what was ordered by the Police Code for street consumption, but now, with its fall in court, fatal. Who can stand this night? But the City Hall never comes to control it. The Cable was filled with external terraces with music and they are very shameless, ” said Nubia Valencia Trejos, who lives in an apartment in the Zona Rosa de Manizales.
