Recently, for one day, the National Police of Ukraine, has conducted searches in illegal gambling establishments. Within the framework of criminal investigation, police officers documented the facts of illegal activity. After that, they appealed to the court to carry out authorized searches in these gambling establishments.
On November 15, in all districts of Kyiv, the National Police Department of the National Defense Department conducted searches in illegal gambling establishments. In which have seized more than 2.2 thousand units of gambling equipment and more than 300 thousand UAH in cash (10882.18USD).
And closed 18 underground gambling establishments operating under the sign of Internet clubs or lottery distributors.
Some institutions functioned simply by changing their signs and names. To secure this illegal business from police, each casino was equipped with modern video surveillance systems.
