The Latin American gaming industry will turn its eyes to the Caribbean coast as GAT Expo Cartagena 2025 opens its doors from April 28 to 30 at the Centro de Convenciones Las Américas.
The event, organized by GAT Events, brings together regulators, operators, suppliers, and industry associations from across the region to discuss the future of gaming, technology, and regulation in Latin America.

The academic agenda kicks off on April 28 with keynote remarks from Coljuegos, highlighting Colombia’s leadership in regulatory policy. International guests include the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission and representatives from CIBELAE, AIEJA (Mexico), SONAJA (Peru), and other industry bodies.

Emerging trends such as Virtual Sports Betting (ACDV) and eSports regulation will take center stage, as GAT embraces the evolution of gaming verticals in a fast-digitizing market. “We’ve designed this agenda with input from the sector’s leading voices,” said José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Events. “This includes legal frameworks and new business frontiers like eSports, which are now officially regulated in Colombia.”.

Networking highlights include a sunset cruise on Cartagena Bay and the official Opening Reception at Bar Inkanto in the historic center, blending Caribbean hospitality with world-class industry dialogue.
