We continue working firmly for the adoption and implementation of risk management systems, oriented to the prevention and control of money laundering, financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (LAFT/FPADM) in the companies of the gambling sector in Colombia.

I am often asked by gambling businessmen how qualified the compliance officer of the companies in the gambling sector should be..... As president of the union and also compliance officer, I answer them: "The duty of a Compliance Officer is to be in permanent training", definitely and totally updated with the national and international regulations, constantly willing to get feedback of the information and the day to day experiences, ready and available to be validating eventual changes, willing to carry the sector high, leader with the capacity to show management before public entities, companies of the real sector of the economy and especially the financial sector; And not being less important, accrediting knowledge in terms of ML/FT/FPADM risk management through courses, diploma courses, specializations, among others, offered by public and private institutions, unions and universities.
