ICE Barcelona will expand once again in 2027 with the addition of a new exhibition hall dedicated exclusively to artificial intelligence, data, fintech, payments, cybersecurity and digital transformation, further strengthening its position as the world's leading gaming industry exhibition. The flagship addition to the next edition will be the Digital and FinTech Transformation Hall, located in Hall 7 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, increasing exhibition capacity while placing technology at the center of the global gaming business.

The exhibition will take place from 18 to 20 January 2027 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, bringing together casino operators, sports betting companies, slot machine manufacturers, iGaming platform providers, payment specialists, artificial intelligence developers, data analytics firms, cloud infrastructure providers, AML, KYC, compliance and cybersecurity companies. ICE remains an exclusive B2B event open only to industry professionals aged 18 and over, with pre-registration and an extensive conference program.

The expansion is being driven by WorldGaming, organizer of ICE, under the leadership of Managing Director Stuart Hunter and Portfolio Director Margaret Dunn, who is overseeing the development of the new hall. Dunn stated that the growing importance of artificial intelligence, data analytics, cloud technology and fintech solutions now requires a dedicated exhibition space where operators and suppliers can showcase innovations focused on business growth, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

The new hall is being developed with guidance from an advisory board comprising senior executives from Microsoft, Playtech, Future Anthem, Continent 8 Technologies, Kaizen Gaming, Entain, SOFTSWISS and Novibet, who will contribute expertise in artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, product development and technology transformation.

ICE continues to build on the success of its relocation from London to Barcelona. Its inaugural Barcelona edition welcomed 50,019 unique visitors, while the co-located iGB Affiliate exhibition attracted 9,082 attendees, generating a combined attendance of 59,101 professionals from 186 countries.

An independent economic study estimated that both events generated €191 million in economic impact and supported approximately 3,100 temporary jobs across Barcelona and Catalonia. With the launch of the Digital and FinTech Transformation Hall, ICE Barcelona 2027 reinforces its strategy of positioning artificial intelligence, data and financial technologies as key drivers of the next phase of innovation in the global gaming industry.
