Last week, Coljuegos publicly announced that it had begun the entire process to legalize live casinos and it is in this way that I publish on its website the draft of the technical requirements of this new game modality.
Within the document, Coljuegos explains that the live casino is defined as the modality of a series of games, in which the players make the bet through the remote connection devices and its result is linked to a hand or play in a royal table.
This game has a special feature that links a real dealer-dealer live, making the player experience as close to reality.
The transmission can be made from recording studios or commercial establishments destined for the operation of localized games or land based casinos, which may be located inside and outside the national territory as long as they comply with the technical requirements established by Coljuegos.
The live casino has two (2) modes of operation:
1. Transmitted from a specialized recording studio: No service is provided here for players other than those connecting from a remote connection device. This broadcast occurs in a space that is specially designed by the live casino provider.
2. Transmitted from tables or games in a localized casino: The providers that offer this mode of transmission carry it out from tables or games certified by a laboratory from a land-based casino.
However, in both cases the entire process must be seen by all players through a remote feed of audio and video in real time, as an example and without limitation, streaming technology, narrowcast, broadcast or other technology and an interface graph.
In addition, the Coljuegos documentation establishes 19 key points for the operation of this modality, among which the following are highlighted:
- Compliance with a return to the player equal to or greater than 83%, which will be certified by a laboratory.
- It will not be allowed to carry physical and virtual bets at the same time by the same player on the game element.
- Live casino games are accepted, in which the auto-play functions and / or progressive jackpots are required, as long as they are duly certified by a laboratory endorsed by Coljuegos.
- The operator must adjust the reporting and file system required by Coljuegos, which reflects the live casino operation.
- Include a mode of operation on the platform or manual adjustment by the dealer-dealer, which allows the correction of an erroneous result, such as, for example, without limiting: when the detection team misread a card, the position of the ball among others.
- The operator must establish procedures to handle any interruption in the transmission of video, voice or data during the game.
Finally, online gambling Operators, who wish to include the type of live casino game within their portfolio of services, must meet the following requirements:
1. Provide the current certification of the live casino solution chosen by the operator and issued by a laboratory authorized by Coljuegos. Such certification should not necessarily be addressed to Coljuegos and can be issued to any jurisdiction.
2. Provide certification of integration of the live casino solution chosen by the operator with the Sistema de Juego central. Said certification must be addressed to Coljuegos in the same terms and conditions that apply to the jurisdiction of Colombia.
