Boldt S.A. formalized on August 27, 2026, with the Buenos Aires Province Institute of Lottery and Casinos (IPLyC) the contract to operate the Hermitage casino in Mar del Plata, Miramar and Tandil for 20 years, in a deal that includes AR$47 billion in investment, continuity for more than 360 workers, and a possible additional one-year extension.

The agreement stems from Public Tender No. 2/2025, authorized on April 10, 2025, and definitively awarded through Resolution 677/2026 on May 15. Boldt scored 87.4 points for each of the three venues. At Casino Hermitage, it competed against Casino de Victoria S.A., linked to businessman Daniel Mautone, which scored 63.5 points; in Miramar and Tandil, Boldt was the sole bidder.

The economic structure grants Boldt a share of the monthly profitability generated by electronic gaming machines of 58% at Casino Anexo III Hermitage in Mar del Plata, 59% in Tandil, located at Avenida Buzón 23, and 59.8% in Miramar, at Calle 21 No. 1335. In the latter venue, the Pre-Award Commission required an improved offer before approving the final percentage.

The contract includes the supply and maintenance of slot machines, online control systems, technological upgrades, building renovations, infrastructure, food and beverage offerings, entertainment, and measures linked to responsible gambling and combating illegal gaming.

The IPLyC is chaired by Gonzalo Atanasof, with María Laura García serving as vice president and Juan Manuel Vernengo heading the Provincial Directorate of Racetracks and Casinos. Boldt, a long-standing technology supplier to Argentina’s gaming sector, is headed by Antonio Eduardo Tabanelli, while Gabriel Amillano Cuesta, responsible for Market Relations, reported the signing to the National Securities Commission (CNV). The new concessions replace years of temporary contracts and secure the modernization of three land-based gaming venues in key tourist destinations across Buenos Aires Province.
