Bogotá closed the 2018, with alarms lit by its high rate of illegality, especially in chance games and lotteries. Even the National Police and the National General Attorney, together with the Lotería de Bogotá, carried out 23 operatives against criminal organizations dedicated to the illegal sale of tickets for the mentioned gambling types or as are well known permanent bets in Bogotá and Girardot, in 2018.
Forty-four people were captured, engaged in the illegal commercialization of permanent bets, whom were charged with the crime of illicit exercise of the monopolistic activity of rent-seeking arbitration.
In spite of this, it is estimated that the health system of Colombians stopped receiving around $ 20,000 million Colombian pesos for these illegal bets in Bogotá and Cundinamarca.
Among the results of the authorities in said operatives are:

Forfeited Bonds: 338,572
The bands dedicated to the illegal sale of chance in the capital region can collect around 171 billion Colombian pesos annually, which means that the health system stops receiving around 20 billion Colombian pesos.
