Colombia’s gambling regulator Coljuegos® has formally authorized Mundo Video Entretenimiento S.A.S. (MundoVideo®) under the country’s newly created RIC (Registro Único de Importadores y Comercializadores)—a compliance mechanism designed to tighten traceability for electronic slot machines (MET), game components, spare parts and related supply chains.
The authorization is recorded in Coljuegos’ RIC certificate No. 20260077461, issued in Bogotá on 5 March 2026, and linked to the filing AUTRIC00056 (19 February 2026). The certificate references the regulatory basis for the registry—Resolution 20250028594 (11 December 2025) as amended by Resolution 20260001234 (26 January 2026)—and confirms the company is registered for “record, monitoring and control” purposes.
For international readers, the RIC matters because it shifts the market toward documented provenance: not only what a machine is, but where it comes from, how it moves, and who is accountable across importation and commercialization. In practical terms, it gives operators a clearer compliance signal: source MET and parts from authorized channels, reduce exposure to contraband risk, and improve audit readiness.
