Coljuegos publishes the draft of the decree that establishes the requirements to those interested in importing used or remanufactured Slots, so that Coljuegos can prepare the lists of authorized importers and Slots models.
Within the document it is established that Coljuegos will draw up a list of manufacturers, their representatives or distributors in Colombia and gambling operators with a current concession contract, which will be sent to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism and will be published in the Coljuegos website for the knowledge of those interested.
To be included in the list of importers, the application must be submitted to Coljuegos including the name of the interested company, country of origin, address, email, telephone, main activity and name of the legal representative, and also attaching the following documents depending whose applicant is.
If you are a Slot manufacturer, you must include:
1. Document that accredits the condition of Slots manufacturer issued by the competent authority of the country of origin in which its existence is recorded, Coljuegos, legal representation and the type of operations that can be carried out, indicating the date from which it is located. authorized to operate, as well as the validity of such authorization.
2. Copy of the identity document of the legal representative of the manufacturing company. In case of acting through a proxy, you must present the power of the legal representative of the country of origin.
If you are a Slot representative or distributor:
1. The manufacturer must be included in the list of authorized importers.
2. Copy of the document that certifies the formal commitment assumed by the legal representative in Colombia to import, market, or distribute the Slots models authorized by the manufacturing company.
3. For international companies, a copy of the company's bylaws, stating that part of its corporate purpose is the import of goods related to casino and Slots machines
4. For national companies, Coljuegos will consult the certificate of existence and legal representation of the company in the Single Business and Social Registry (RUES), to verify that within the activities of the corporate purpose is the import of elements of gambling.
All documentation must be in Spanish. Used or remanufactured slots that meet the technical requirements established by Coljuegos may be imported, they must have a certificate issued by a laboratory accredited to Coljuegos.
Additionally, Slots models that are certified for the jurisdictions of Peru and Chile may be imported, for which the Slots manufacturer must present to Coljuegos the certificate of compliance with the technical requirements for those jurisdictions, issued by a certifying laboratory. accredited to Coljuegos.
This decree, despite not being officially published, will only be valid until April 14, 2021.
