The Colombian Federation of Gambling Entrepreneurs Fecoljuegos and the Institute of Development, Tourism, Culture, Sports and Environment of Brazil (IDT-CEMA) announced a cooperation agreement in order to strengthen the gambling industry in both countries.
The alliance seeks to be an instrument that generates a commitment to mutual cooperation and allows, among other things, cooperation between private and institutional support for actions, events and campaigns.
"The signing of this alliance represents greater growth opportunities for the industry and for the businessmen of both countries, since this allows the flow of cooperation, information and actions tending to promote games of chance through the different transversal economic activities such as tourism", affirmed the president of Fecoljuegos, Evert Montero Cárdenas.
In turn, the IDT-CEMA, in its communiqué accompanied the message of the president of Fecoljuegos assuring that it has as "objective to promote and develop activities and segments related to tourism, culture, sports, education, technology, health and the environment, through projects and actions with entities, government, companies and communities".
Both actors agree that this partnership creates opportunities for casinos and gambling, for city halls, hotels and tourist trade in the Brazilian economic scenario.
In June, IDT-CEMA held in Sao Paulo the first edition of Brasil Opportunities Gambling E-Sports Casino, where the positive impact of the gambling approval to leverage the hotel sector and the Brazilian economy was discussed. On that occasion, Fecoljuegos participated in the round of panels.
