Machines that have progressive systems and Mystery awards The provisions contained in the mysterious prizes imposed by Coljuegos are already mandatory, as from the publication in the official journal of resolution 20171200010764 of 2017 of Coljuegos on pages 38 and 39.
"There are established the guidelines and requirements to monitor and control the operation of elements of the game that include Mystery Awards"
The document, defined as mysterious prizes "Everyone who gives himself to a gambler who is playing in a gambling establishment of chance and chance of the localized mode, as long as he meets the following requirements:
A) The raffle is made randomly and the choice of the winner is not determined by a winning combination of the game element.
B) The value offered is the responsibility of the concessionaire.
C) To have the certification of an accredited laboratory according to Resolution 20161200013844 of 2016 or act that modifies it, issued to the manufacturer of the element or software developer of any jurisdiction, in which it is evidenced that the software that works in the element Corresponds to a mysterious prize. The certification may be submitted for each element or group of elements of the same make and model, in addition and if necessary must be provided with an official translation into Castilian. "
According to article 4 all those elements that do not comply with the requirements established in the resolution and mentioned above, will not be able to offer mysterious prizes otherwise with it would lead to a beginning of processes of contractual noncompliance, among the requirements is the registry before Coljuegos Of each element authorized in the concession contracts for said registration, the copy of the certification of an accredited laboratory, issued to the manufacturer of the software element or developer of any jurisdiction, must be taken into account, in which it is evidenced that the software that Works on the item corresponds to a mysterious prize.
The validity of the resolution, establishes that this administrative act must be mandatory after publication, the operators will have 6 months to register the elements in mention that pay mysterious prizes before Coljuegos, otherwise this can lead to investigations corresponding to the Compliance with paragraph C of article 44 of Law 643 of 2001, which was modified by article 20 of Law 1393 of 2010.
