On June 5, the MinTic (Ministry of Information Technology and Communications) delivered 56 Free Wi-Fi zones for all the people of Risaralda, the investment between 2,037 million pesos.
Each Wifi point will work under the same descriptions of those areas that were located in the month of November last year in Pereira, that is, covering an area of approximately 7,800 square meters and supporting about 120 people connected to the same time net. "TODAY WE COMPLETE 157 FREE WIFI AREAS INSTALLED IN RISARALDA, WHICH REPRESENT MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE INHABITANTS OF THIS REGION, WHICH ALLOW THE CITIZENS TO DO ONLINE PROCESSES, ACCESS TO EDUCATIONAL CONTENT, TRAIN OR COMMUNICATE WITH THEIR BEINGS WANTED FOR NO COST" Said the Minister of Information Technologies and Communications (TIC), David Luna at the time of delivery of Wi-Fi zones.
Finally, with these inaugurations Risaralda completed 156 free internet connection spaces installed in the main squares of different municipalities, of the 57 wifi zones, Dosquebradas will have 11 free internet points, La Virginia will have six, Santa Rosa de Cabal five, Belén de umbría tres, Marseilles, Guacia, Quinchía, La Celia, Apia and Santuario will each have two Wi-Fi zones and Pueblo Rico with a connection.
