In the last edition of the Ibero-American summit of the game that just end, it evidenced the interest of all the actors of the industry at national level as well as the inclusion of strong countries like Portugal, Spain and many others from the American continent.
During the heyday and talks seen at the summit, support was given to Colombia as a leader in the regulation of online play by the participants themselves. The leadership that Colombia has taken in this Gambling industry is so strong that, in the intervention of Mauricio Cárdenas (the one on the left in the picture), Minister of Finance of the country referred to the commitment that would begin to take the government to increase the collections of the Same industry.
This in order to bring new games to Colombia achieving as a last consequence the creation of new sources of wealth for the state and for the Colombians themselves
through the game.
"We need more inspection where gambling is practiced, but we have to facilitate access to the formalization"
also Cardenas also affirmed that "We must increase the formalization, growth of the sector and obtain more resources of games of chance for health system"
