The incoming president of Colombia, launched at the end of September the campaign "Simple State-Agile Colombia" that aims to provide citizens, micro / medium entrepreneurs with the procedures before some state entities such as the Ministries of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, of the Information and Communication Technologies, Health and Social Protection, and also involving the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA), the General Maritime and Port Management (Dimar), Migration Colombia, the Food and Drug Surveillance Institute (INVIMA) , the Directorate of National Taxes and Customs (Dian), and the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).
All the social networks of the state entities -including Coljuegos- have posted messages encouraging the site www.colombiaagil.gov.co and # ColombiaÁgil (Due to their Spanish name) to participate in the process, denouncing unnecessary regulations and procedures.
Already in these entities have been removed or are in process this type of procedure. Coljuegos does not appear on the list but it is clear that the entity must review its processes, mainly focusing on the effectiveness of its legal department, which shines as the weak link in the process chain for issuing and / or renewing contracts for operators of localized Games.
I do not know if the department has enough staff or its processes that do not allow the information to flow effectively. In the past administration of the Santos Government, the abolition of unnecessary paperwork was achieved in the “Colombia Eficiente” campaign, and this boosted the economy, including Coljuegos itself.
I like this new campaign, and I hope that Juan B. and his team detect which are the neuralgic points of the Legal Department, all for the sake of a more efficient Coljuegos and operators with fewer problems and obstacles that hit their lacerated economy
