Legal security, sustainability, productivity and competitiveness are necessary and urgent variables to be able to generate an equitable growth in the gambling industry. The implementations of profitable practices point to economic progress and, in addition, increase the collection of monies for health in Colombia.

We have the obligation to safeguard the economic, social and political interests of our associates who suffer the unfortunate stagnation of the sector. Cornazar, as an association of localized lucky and chance game entrepreneurs (bingos and casinos) and novelties ones (lotto’s), has been reluctant to express to the Regulatory Entity the interest of its associates in providing important figures for the State, but that they also want significant figures for their economy.

One of the most important messages from Colombian entrepreneurs is that they want to remain in the law, they want to remain committed to the sector, but they want viability for their businesses through equity tools.

The tax burden produced a negative impact, leaving aside the thought of new investments, new contracts and led to stop the process of acquisition of new gambling products ... illegality is the saddest consequence of the confiscatory rate.

Therefore, Cornazar celebrates that it has been established that the concessionaires pay for the profits of their work within the industry. The imminent promulgation of the * National Development Plan 2018-2022 *, is the response of the National Government to the call of urgency made by the figures of the sector.

We hope that the new road map will trigger very positive results for the public economy with the increase of the concessions and the gambling elements authorized by the body regulator. We anticipate a promising management environment for the private economy with the expansion of the service portfolio, innovation, entrepreneurship and legality.

This lifeguard launched by the Government is a win-win strategy in tune with the global economy that waited with need the sector that plays with transparency for the health of Colombia.

To finish we are sure that the most effective missive against the illegal operation is the legal security that is issued for this four-year period.
