With this idea and approach, they have clearly achieved a productive transformation of a sector that is betting on compliance with the law, transparency and the generation of resources for health.
However, now Coljuegos started a new strategy with some surveillance visits to lotteries.
The first visit was made to the lottery of Huila in its draw number 4369, this with the help of the Technical Secretary of the National Council of gambling, CNSJA (its delegates are those who appear in the photo). The objective of the surveillance visit by the CNJSA was to verify compliance with Law 643 of 2001 on the Own Regime of the Rent and Winning Gambling Monopoly.
"The objective of Coljuegos and the National Council of Gambling is to make an institutional presence and watch lotteries and chance dealers, to see how they are developing the business of permanent betting, in this case the game of lottery, what are the processes or procedures they have, if the recommendations given to them are being met, how are they executing the expenses, "said William Sierra Agudelo, manager of the Technical Secretariat of the CNJSA.
The following were considered during the surveillance visit:
- The technological verification of the traditional lottery operation or banknotes through electronic channels
- Compliance with the technical reserve’s regime for payment of prizes
- Verification of the execution of the draw protocol
- Manual of lottery procedures
- The execution of the concession contract of gambling
Finally, the manager of the Huila Lottery, Vladimir Caballero Medina, explained that "these surveillance visits are important for the Lottery of Huila, so that the authorities verify the legality and transparency of the lottery game before our betting public, and we also achieve consolidate financially and administratively to continue generating resources for the health sector "
