Due to the lack of bidders, in compliance with the applicable regulations and after the corresponding technical, economic and legal analysis, Coljuegos has decided to relax the requirements for the selection process of the next operator of the online lottery type game called Baloto.
This with the objective of promoting the participation of a greater number of bidders from the public and/or private sector, regardless of whether they are of national or international origin. That said, the extension of time to submit bids will be until 12/13/2021 6:04:00 PM local time (COT).
Because of the declaration of desertion of Public Bidding No. LP 001 of 2021, Coljuegos will then continue in the search for the new possible operator of Baloto under the care of the Procuraduría General De La Nación (Attorney General's Office).
The entity highlights in an official statement that was recently published, that in the regulations of Agreement 03 of May 25, 2021, different alternatives for the development and innovation of the game are contemplated that will allow increasing the income of the game and therefore, argues that this is a great business opportunity. He invites all those interested to know the conditions of the abbreviated selection process to grant in concession the operation of the game, which were published yesterday in the platform of the Electronic System for Public Procurement SECOP II.
