Coljuegos recently published a draft resolution through which it sets new requirements and guarantees for new online gambling operators. In this way, with this draft resolution they seek to modify resolution 20161200025334 establishing two new measures protecting in this time of health emergency the Colombian player who would access this type of online services because the mandatory quarantine that goes up to April 27.
Coljuegos requests that in addition to verification in the public database of consultation of the .co domain administrator in Colombia, WHOIS. Verification of domain ownership may be carried out with a query to the organization Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers ICANN, or whichever takes its place, for this purpose the operator may submit the query through the following link or whichever is available the aforementioned organization and provide the document issued by ICANN: https://rddsrequest.nic.co/
The latter the entity proposes as a subsection to the requirement of number 1 of article 5 of the aforementioned resolution to be modified in 2016. Also, for the requirement of number 5 of article 5, Coljuegos proposes the following change:
The financial capacity will be verified by the agency designated in the entity's functions manual and must be accredited by the applicant, among the elements that must be demonstrated must comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), starting with the financial statements which must include:
a) Statement of financial position
b) Income and profit statement
c) Statement of changes in equity
d) Statement of cash flows
e) Notes to the financial statements
